Tooth Whitening

Bleaching/Tooth Whitening

This is a process whereby a bleaching or tooth whitening agent usually carbamide peroxide 10-16% is applied to teeth.
This practice recommends the tray system whereby the patient wears a thin close fitting mouthguard containing the bleaching gel for between 30 minutes up to 8 hours. The treatment takes between 10-14 days. The major benefit of this system is that you are in control of the final outcome and your trays can be uses over and over again to keep your teeth as white as you wish.
