FACIAL TREATMENTS
As skin ages it loses collagen and elastin, which are the materials that give young skin that tighter yet supple quality. Once lost the facial skin is more susceptible to sagging and creasing. At Quadrant we can use a combination of treatments to compensate for this loss of volume, helping reduce the signs of aging.
HOW LONG DOES TREATMENT TAKE?
In most cases the treatment takes about twenty minutes. The effects take
place very quickly within 48 to 72 hours although the full extent of the treatment
may not be visible for up to 10 days.
Treatment will be reviewed after 2 weeks when any further top ups and further
treatments can be discussed.
ARE THERE ANY ADVERSE EFFECTS?
In a small number of cases there may be some localised bruising, swelling,
or redness at the injection site. This usually disappears very quickly.
Botox has been used in thousands of patients over the last 15 years and has
an excellent safety profile.
DO THE EFFECTS OF THE TREATMENT LOOK ARTIFICIAL?
No. Unlike some surgical facelifts, this kind of treatment is very specific and works only on the muscles that are involved in producing the facial lines that you want to reduce. Other muscles are not affected and this means that your usual facial expressions remain the same.
HOW LONG WILL THE EFFECTS LAST?
Initially the improvement will last 3-4 months. You will notice a gradual
fading of the effect and at this stage you can return for another treatment
if you want to. With repeated treatments the effects last longer.
