Alcohol free mouthwashes are best!

Recent research published in the British Dental Journal has suggested that there is no benefit to having alcohol in mouthwashes in terms of plaque and gingivitis control.

The side effects of alcohol in a mouthwash include burning mouth, dry gums, softening of white fillingsand gum pain as well as worsening any damage caused by smoking.

Next time you ask for a mouthwash, ask for an alcohol free one!!

We are taking on new patients!

After a short intermission when we could not accept new patients Dr Bahrami now has space on her list for them. However we cannot say for how long this will last so if you know someone who is looking for a dentist send them our way!!
